Hello!
My name is Katelyn Wiltse (pronounced wilt-see).
I’m a lover of the Pacific Northwest who calls Oregon my home, but I’m currently living in beautiful Colorado Springs because it’s where my husband is stationed with the Army. We moved here in 2020 from our last duty station in Bavaria, Germany, where I originally started this little business wayyy back in 2017!
I have a BA in filmmaking from Portland State University, where I learned everything from capturing light and expression to editing for true-to-life color. But I’ve also spent my whole life traveling the world, which has given me more valuable insight than any classroom ever could.
I think that is what gives me my passion for portrait photography. Through travel, I’ve met countless incredible people who have circled in and out of my life over the years, but sadly, that also means I’m constantly missing someone who’s too far away for my liking.

The ability to freeze time through photography—to be able to hang onto a moment forever—is something I’ll never take for granted for as long as I live. To me, it’s always felt like a form of ✨magic.✨
